The story so far...

At the beginning of February, our three lucky finalists jetted off to Maranello in Italy, home of the iconic sports car manufacturer, Ferrari. During an exclusive factory tour they got a first-hand look at some of the most iconic cars produced by the legendary Italian marque.

For the second stage of 'Write into gear', our ten semi-finalists joined us for a behind-the-scenes look at the Shell technology centre in Cheshire. Our entrants got a close-up look at the production and testing of Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Diesel, and now, by browsing the pictures below, you can see it too and some of the great coverage so far.

'Write into gear' took to the road at the MPH Motor Show at Earl's Court in London and the NEC in Birmingham. Here you can see some shots from the stand, which was adorned with a selection of the best entries from the competition.
